Sierra Wireless Mobile Communications Lab

The Sierra Wireless Mobile Communications Lab measures antenna patterns and is used by SFU researchers and high-tech wireless companies. The lab is the only one available in Western Canada where companies can undertake shared access for research, development and testing. There are more than 250 wireless companies in B.C.

Visually striking, this large metal room  is completely lined on the inside with stunning foam “points” to suppress all radiowaves used for measurements and which is shielded from all other radiowave signals.
