Apply to the School of Engineering Science Graduate Program
We welcome applicants to our graduate program!
Step 1:
Graduate applications to the School of Engineering Science MASc, MEng, and PhD program are accepted online at the following link to the Dean of Graduate studies website.

- ***Please note: For the Fall 2012 application period that while applications must be initiated through the Dean of Graduate Studies website and appropriate fees collected by January 15th, 2012, the deadline for the upload and receipt of documents has been extended until January 31st, 2012.***
- Please note: Applications are only considered for the semester to which they apply, and will not be carried over. If your application is unsuccessful and you wish to reapply, you will have to commence a new application, repay the application fee and resubmit all supporting documentation. At the close of the Application Period, your existing application is finalized and cannot be revised with new information, documents, or updates; no new information, documents, or updates will be accepted by email or mail.
Step 2:
After obtaining an application ID, paying the required application fee, and entering the required information on the above link, you will receive an e-mail from the Online Application System for Engineering Science (OASES), with instructions on how to complete your application, submit your referee information and submit copies of your documents online. You should receive this e-mail approximately 5 business days after paying your application fee.
Step 3:
Once you complete your online application on OASES, you will need to arrange to have your official university transcripts sent directly to one of the following addresses by the degree-granting institution(s) that you have attended. This may take time so please act early.

- Please note: you will determine which campus to send your documents to based on the faculty members you select as potential supervisors. If you choose faculty from both campuses, then please arrange to have your documents sent to both addresses.
Step 4:
Proof of English proficiency: Applicants who do not hold a degree from an accredited university in the United States or Canada are required to submit original TOEFL (or IELTS) scores. Please note the minimum test scores.
Note that IELTS, and TOEFL scores need to be sent directly to the Registrar's Office by Educational Testing Service.

- Please note: In order to apply you must already have your (unofficial) score available for upload into the application system to speed up application review. Exam scores must be less than 2 years old to be considered and the official scores still need to be sent to us for record keeping and verification.
